Itinerary
Day 1 Itinerary
8:00am - 9:00am
Pick-up from Indian Museum Main Gate near Park Street Metro Station. Reporting time is 8:00 am and departure at 8:30 am. Second pick-up point is PC Chandra Garden Gate No. 1, Science City with reporting time 8:30 am and departure at 9:00 am by AC vehicle.
9:00am - 1:30pm
Enjoy a comfortable drive towards Godkhali, the last road point before entering the Sundarbans. Breakfast and tea break will be provided on the way.
1:30pm
Arrive at the resort located opposite the Sundarban Tiger Reserve, surrounded by village life, forests and river breeze. Check-in and relax.
2:00pm
Freshly prepared lunch will be served at the resort.
4:00pm - 6:00pm
Enjoy a short boat ride through the Sundarban Bird Jungle with a beautiful sunset view. Experience the peaceful waterways and return to the resort after sunset.
7:00pm
Enjoy a local folk dance performance at the resort followed by complimentary evening snacks and tea.
9:30pm - 10:00pm
Dinner will be served at the resort followed by overnight stay.
Day 2 Itinerary
8:00am
Start the exciting Sundarban Delta Safari by boat through the beautiful waterways of the mangrove forest.
8:30am
Begin the jungle safari with a Government tourist guide at Sajnekhali Tiger Reserve.
9:30am
Continue the thrilling boat safari through rivers, islands and narrow creeks covering Pirkhali, Sarakkhali, Gazikhali and Banbibi Varani. Visit Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower and spot wildlife including spotted deer, crocodiles, wild boar, snakes, water monitor lizards, various birds and, if lucky, the Royal Bengal Tiger.
12:30pm
Visit Do-Banki Tiger Reserve Area and Watch Tower. Experience the 896-meter canopy walk inside the protected enclosure for a unique wildlife viewing experience.
1:30pm
Visit Panchamukhni, the scenic five-river junction of the Sundarbans.
4:00pm - 5:00pm
Complete the Sundarban jungle tour and start the return journey towards Kolkata.
8:00pm - 9:00pm
Reach Kolkata with wonderful memories of your Sundarban adventure.
