Itinerary
Day 1 Itinerary
8:00am - 9:00am
Pick-up from Indian Museum Main Gate near Park Street Metro Station. Reporting time is 8:00 am and departure at 8:30 am. Second pick-up point is PC Chandra Garden Gate No. 1, Science City with reporting time 8:30 am and departure at 9:00 am by AC vehicle.
9:00am - 1:30pm
Enjoy a comfortable 3½ hour AC journey to Godhkhali, the last road point before entering the Sundarbans. Breakfast and tea break will be provided on the way.
1:30pm - 4:00pm
Board the boat from Godhkhali and enjoy a scenic 2½ hour cruise through Hogol, Gomar and Durgaduni rivers towards the resort. Explore Gosaba Island and visit Hamilton Saheb Bungalow and Beacon Bungalow.
4:00pm - 6:00pm
Enjoy birdwatching at Birds Jungle and Pakhiralaya. Continue with an evening boat ride to Pakhir Jungle and experience the peaceful beauty of the Sundarbans.
7:00pm
Enjoy a traditional folk dance performance at the resort followed by evening snacks and tea.
9:30pm - 10:00pm
Dinner will be served at the resort followed by overnight stay.
Day 2 Itinerary
7:00am
Start the day with an early morning tea before beginning the full-day Sundarban National Park boat safari.
8:00am
Cruise through the dense mangrove forests of Sundarbans National Park with opportunities to witness unique wildlife and natural beauty.
11:30am
Visit Burir Dabri Watchtower, an offbeat location known for its scenic surroundings and excellent chances of tiger sightings.
1:30pm
Lunch will be served on the boat while cruising through the beautiful rivers and creeks of the Sundarbans.
3:00pm
Visit Harikhali Watchtower and enjoy views of river confluences with chances to spot crocodiles, deer and other wildlife.
6:00pm
Return to the resort and relax after a thrilling jungle safari.
9:30pm - 10:00pm
Dinner will be served at the resort followed by overnight stay.
Day 3 Itinerary
6:30am
Begin an early morning safari towards Sudhanyakhali Watchtower, one of the most popular tiger sighting zones of the Sundarbans.
11:30am
Visit Do-Banki Watchtower and experience the famous canopy walk along with the deer rehabilitation centre.
1:30pm
Lunch will be served on the boat followed by exploration of the beautiful bird forest and surrounding waterways.
5:00pm
Return to the resort and enjoy the peaceful evening atmosphere of Pakhiralaya.
9:30pm - 10:00pm
Dinner will be served at the resort followed by overnight stay.
Day 4 Itinerary
7:00am
Enjoy a morning village walk to experience local life, sunrise views, mangroves and bird photography opportunities.
9:00am - 11:30am
Breakfast at the resort followed by final boat journey with lunch on the way.
12:00pm
Reach Godhkhali Jetty and board the vehicle for the return journey to Kolkata.
4:30pm - 5:00pm
